Oglesby ISD to host fall festival Oct. 30

Oglesby Independent School District will host its annual fall festival for the community and its students and faculty on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
The festival will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and will include various games and activities along with different food options.
Oglesby ISD will release more details regarding the festival closer to the event.

Evant ISD to host annual harvest festival Nov. 2
Evant Independent School District will host its annual harvest festival Saturday, Nov. 2, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
From 5:30-7:15 p.m., there will be games located in Evant High School’s new gymnasium as well as barbeque plates served as the meal.
From 5:30-7 p.m., voting will take place for the harvest festival duke and duchess as well as the king and queen. The winners will be announced at 7:30 p.m. in the old gymnasium during a coronation.
There will also be a haunted house for the community, which will be from 8-10 p.m.
Evant ISD is located at 339 Memory Lane in Evant.
