Jonesboro Eagles swept Medina, 70-20, in the Area Playoffs. The Eagles (11-1) now advance to the 6-Man 1A D1 quarterfinal round against the Gordon Longhorns (12-0). The quarterfinal game will be held Nov. 29 in Hico against Gordon at 6 p.m. A public sendoff was scheduled for Friday at 3:10 p.m. in front of Jonesboro High School.
