Diamond Duo performs at Gatesville Country Music Hall of Fame

Posted

Diamond Duo, comprised of talented musicians Debbie White and Randy Ingram, recently took the stage at Gatesville’s City Auditorium in a free concert sponsored by The Gatesville Country Music Hall of Fame.

Diamond Duo teamed up in 1993 to become a very successful and popular duo. It has been a blending of talents and entertainment that has been quite successful for them and has pleased their fans, followers, and audiences at each and every performance. Not only do they produce great harmony, but they also have a lively and energetic show. Diamond Duo currently holds the title of “Duo of the Year” not only by Coast-to-Coast Magazine, but also by the Lone Star Music Association. They both hold independent awards such as “Vocalist of the Year,” “Track show artist,” and “Entertainer of the Year” dating back to 1996.

Randy Ingram used to be in a rock and roll band in his younger years but now has a passion for country music.

Born in McKinney, Randy now lives in Weatherford with his wife where he is now retired from Fire and Rescue.

Debbie White was nominated five times as a Grammy contender over the years and has now received her first Josie Award nomination in 2024, has gone on to make many independent appearances in Branson, Mo, and sings often at the Music City Hayride in Nashville.  Debbie has appeared at many venues in the DFW areas for the last 20 years. Debbie has released two albums previously and has just written and released her first Gospel song called “Walkin’ Tall with Jesus,” which is currently being played on local radio stations and overseas. Debbie loves to sing gospel music, but her passion is country music.

Born in Hope, AR, Debbie now lives in Ft. Worth where she continues to pursue her music career…simply for the love of it. She held the position of President for the State Lone Star Music Association, a music organization that held weekly events at Billy Bob’s Texas in the Ft. Worth Stockyards to promote local talent.
