The Gatesville Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Christmas Parade with the theme of “Cowboy Christmas” on Saturday, Dec. 14.
The Christmas Parade will begin at 10 a.m., and the route will start at Business 36. Then it will proceed to Lovers Lane where the floats will line up on Hornet Way if there are no parked vehicles on Marhsall Street or Lovers Lane.
To enter a float in the parade, it will cost $10 for chamber members, $10 for non-profit organizations, and $20 for non-members of the chamber. There is no cost for first responders, which includes volunteer fire departments, sheriff’s office, police department, etc.

Following the parade this year, the chamber has partnered with the City of Gatesville to host a Holiday Extravaganza Market at the Gatesville Civic Center, located at 301 Veterans Memorial Loop.
The Holiday Extravaganza Market will feature vendors for local shopping, family-focused activities, music, and pictures with Santa Claus in Santa’s Workshop.
The event is currently full for inside vendor spots but is still searching for food trucks and parking lot vendors. To sign up with a food truck, the cost will be $50 and parking lot spaces will cost $30.
