Posted

Coryell County residents Troy and Belinda Chasteen recently had a fire break out at their home, which resulted in the couple losing their house.

The Chasteen family have been members of the community for several years and have served their town in many ways. To help them move forward, a fundraising event has been set for Saturday, March 22.

The fundraiser will be held from 4-11 p.m. at the Turnersville Community Center, located at 8113 FM 182 in Gatesville. There will be a silent auction, a DJ, and karaoke.

The dance will begin at 8 p.m. with the Texas Connection Band to perform. Admission will be $15 a person or $25 a couple.

Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase as well. This is a bring-your-own-beverage (alcoholic) event. No glass will be permitted.
