Closings in observance of Good Friday and Easter

Businesses and governmental offices across Coryell County will join the rest of the nation on Friday, April 18 and Sunday, April 20, in celebration of Good Friday and Easter.

Closings in the immediate area include:

GOVERNMENT

The City of Gatesville and the Coryell County Courthouse will be closed on Friday, April 18. The Farm Service Agency will remain open.

SCHOOLS

Gatesville Independent School District and Oglesby ISD will be closed on Friday, April 18 and on Monday, April 21. Jonesboro ISD and Evant ISD will be closed on Friday, April 18.

The Boys & Girls Club of Gatesville will be closed on Friday.

FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

Extraco Bank will close at 12 p.m. on Friday, April 18, and will be closed for the entire day on Saturday, April 19. The First National Bank of Gatesville, Evant, and Oglesby will close at 3 p.m. on Friday. Cadence Bank and Educator’s Credit Union will remain open on Friday.

POST OFFICES

All local post offices will remain open.

LIBRARY

The Gatesville Public Library will be closed on Friday, April 18, through Sunday, April 20.

SENIOR CENTER

The Gatesville Senior and Multi-Service Center will be closed on Friday.

NEWSPAPER

The Gatesville Messenger will remain open on Friday.
