Dribbling drills Ainsley Warren dribbles two basketballs at once during a skill session for the Gatesville girls. The team returns the nucleus from last year’s playoff team. Warren, Caitlin Chacon and Cadence Smalley were senior’s leading the drills this week. All three are solid ballhandlers for the Hornets. The girls’ varsity posted a 23-13 record last season. They were edged out of the playoffs in the regional quarterfinals by Rusk. This year they will move to Region I-4A. Photo by Mark Goodson
