Oglesby football builds on success
Oglesby High School is reaping the benefits of winning. The quiet community, just 17 miles East of Gatesville and five miles from McGregor off Highway 84, rolled to a 10-2 season last year in Jeb Dixon’s first year as athletic director/football coach for the six-man program.
Before the historic run was over, administrators and the community decided to build a fieldhouse for the Tigers.
Concrete got poured early and the Tigers made noise with a huge turnaround in its athletic program in 2020. In January, the move-in started.
