Hornets stroll past La Vega in district game

The Gatesville Hornets improved their season record to 28-9 by sweeping the Lady Pirates, 3-0 (25-11, 25-14, 25-9), Tuesday at LaVega High School. The win also kept the Hornets in second place in District 17-4A standings at 7-2, one game ahead of Robinson and two games behind Lorena.
