Gatesville defeats Brownwood
Cade Smalley and Caitlin Chacon came out firing in Tuesday’s District 6-4A contest.
The red-hot shooting and solid defense by the team spelled the difference for the Lady Hornets in posting an impressive 55-32 win over Brownwood at Gatesville.
“When we play with confidence, that’s when we play our best,” said senior Allaiya Jones after leading the team in scoring with 15 points.
Gatesville has won three in a row and four of its last five.
