Evant games cancelled, quarantine enforced
Evant High School officials are instituting a quarantine for the school after a student and school employee tested positive for COVID-19.
Up to “20-25 students and athletes’’ will be quarantined for two weeks, said Evant Superintendent Ken Wimberley.
“School is going to be still open, we are working to make sure they are safe,’’Wimberley said. “In a small school like this, it’s easy for them to be around everything.’’
