Patti W. Davidson, age 69, of Gatesville, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022, in Gatesville.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Don McConnaughhay officiating. Burial followed at Pidcoke Cemetery.

Patti was born on Dec. 7, 1952, in Coryell County, to the late Earl Wayne (Fish) and Frances Moore Wilkinson. She grew up in the Harmon community and went to school in Gatesville, graduating from Gatesville High School in 1971. She married Joe Wesley Davidson on April 25, 1998. Patti worked for Texas Department of Criminal Justice at the Hughes Unit, retiring after 20 years of service in 2010. She loved cooking, reading cookbooks and shopping. She was a member of Pidcoke Baptist Church.

Patti is survived by her husband, Joe Davidson; daughters, Melissa Clinard and husband, Raymond, Angie Clover and husband, Clint, Jolene Hays and husband, Keith; five grandchildren, Jordan Clover, Jared Clover, Randy Hays, Amber Hays, Byron Adams; and one great-grandson, Asher Blake Beerbower-Clover.

In lieu of flowers, the family has designated memorials be made to the Pidcoke Cemetery Assn., 105 River Ridge Dr., Gatesville, TX 76528.
