When not traveling, she and her husband farmed and ranched for many years in Jonesboro raising crops, cattle and two boys. Through all the highs and lows, they were always by each other’s side. Her husband preceded her in death on April 11, 2016. She was also preceded in death by a son, Carl Beechly, in 1988. She is survived by a son, Curtis Beechly and his wife, Dawn; sister, Dorothy Mason and husband, LaVerne; four grandchildren, Jackie Morgan and husband, Billy, Brittany Beechly, Chad Beechly and Taylor Williams; and two great-grandchildren, Cory and Carly Morgan. Memorials may be made to the Ater Cemetery Association, 605 CR 195, Jonesboro, TX 76538.
