Louis Wayne Gober

Louis (Wayne) Gober, age 79, of Gatesville, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016, at a local nursing home facility with his family by his side.

Louis was born Oct. 7, 1937, to the late David and Maimi Gober. He was a very hardworking man. He worked for Coryell County and City of Gatesville, where he retired from in December 1999. He loved working outdoors, cutting cedar and pine wood for many years. He also loved fishing and camping.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Bessie Arnold; stepson, Jason Montgomery; and a very special friend, Bill King.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Gober; one brother, Robert Gober of Belton; sons, Donald Donahoo and wife, Darlene, Tommy Gober and wife Darlene and Jeffry Williams, all of Gatesville; daughters, Donna Pigott and husband, Vance of Round Rock, TX, Debra Hall of Winters, TX, Linda Burgan of Temple, TX, Kathy Wilkins and husband, Adam of Colorado Springs, CO, Martha (D.D.) Bohlen and husband, Roger of Gatesville, TX and Kristal Williams of Oklahoma City, OK; 23 grandkids; 29 great-grandkids; and a very dear family friend, Sandra King of Oglesby, TX. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Grace Assembly Full Gospel Church.
