Lois Marie (Berry) Erwin June 11, 1942 – September 22, 2022

Posted

On Thursday, September 22, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great, great grandmother, and sister was carried gently into Jesus’ arms, her last and heavenly home.

We celebrate her overwhelming joy as she now worships God in His glorious presence. Lois is now reunited with her dad, mom, her daughter Paula, four brothers, one sister, and other family members and friends.

Lois was born June 11, 1942, in Walnut Springs to Harry and Pauline (Teeters) Berry. She was a wonderful mother to Raymond Callan and wife, Lynn, Connie Tallent, Paula Robertson and husband, Ralph, David Burton and wife, Mary Ellen, and her grandson Jacob Robertson and wife, Kim. Lois was united in marriage to Cleveland Duane (Pops) Erwin on December 31, 1986. Like most marriages they had their ups and downs but the love they had for each other was marvelous.

One of the most precious times in her life was loving and spoiling her grandchildren, Charity (Callan) Gantt and husband, Justin, and their children Tanner and Callan; Bubba Callan and Tori Mathys and their children Landry and Taggert; Heidi (Callan) Jahns and husband, Ethan, and their children, Graham and Jake; Cody Manning; Carl Manning; Cassidy Manning; Cale (Alexis) Callan; Austin Tallent and wife, Cassie, and their children Keagan, Sarah, Macie, and Gracelyn; Lauren (Tallent) and husband, Chris Buster, and their children, Wade, and Kaitlynn; Nolan Tallent and his son, Sterling; Ashley (Chrystal Cantrell); Chasity Lopez and her husband, Erby; Emiliegh Burton; Cade Robertson, Colton Robertson; Tori Ramsey; Sarah (Ramsey) Hunt and numerous great, great, great grandchildren. Lois is also survived by her brother, Robert Berry who was her best friend.

Mrs. Lois will be remembered for her beautiful voice and smile that served to strengthen family and friends. Lois left this verse for her family and friends that she loved dearly.

He that heareth my word, and believeth in him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24

Family and friends attended a Celebration of Life gathering on Monday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m. at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Shive.
