Leonor Aguilar, age 86, of Oglesby, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, at her home.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, at the Gatesville Church of Christ.

Leonor was born on March 2, 1935, in Robstown, to the late Eliso Campos and Victoria Hernandez Campos. She grew up and attended school in Robstown. She married Simon L. Aguilar on May 9, 1957. They moved to Gatesville in 1985. Her husband preceded her in death in 2009. She was a member of the Gatesville Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children, Edward Acebedo and wife, Angelica, Luis Aguilar and wife, Mary, Norma Jannise and husband, Michael, Linda Hope and husband, Donny, Tony Aguilar and wife, Edina, Simon Aguilar, Lisa Ramos and husband, Luis, Jimmy Aguilar and wife, Rosa, Bill Aguilar and wife, Stacy, Amanda Williams; brother, Tacho Campos; 25 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
