Diana Gail Rogers Sanders, 38, died Nov. 26, 2017. Services were held Dec. 2 at Riley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial took place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. She was born on December 30, 1978, in Comanche, to Henry and Bernadene Rogers. Diana attended numerous schools during her younger years. She attended high school in Star where she was a cheerleader for two years and was class president. She was also homecoming queen her senior year. She graduated from Star High School as valedictorian of her class. After high school, she attended Ashford University for awhile. Diana worked for Dr. Rushing in Lampasas for many years as a veterinary assistant. She loved animals. After that, she started working in the nursing profession where she was a nursing assistant. “Dino”, as her friends and family called her, loved everyone she met, she never met a stranger and would give you the clothes off her back if you needed it. She received her credentials of ministry in January of this year. She is survived by Justin Hosler, her fiancée, of Evant; son, Travis Sanders of Proctor; daughter, Justiana Holser of Evant; her parents, Henry and Bernadene Rogers of Goldthwaite; two brothers, Mark and wife, Diana Rogers, of Temple and Michael and wife, Laurie Rogers and family of Spokane, WA; three sisters, Cissy, husband, Tracy Couch and family of Star, Stephanie, husband, Keith Sanders and family of Star and Melissa, husband, Robert Head and family of Goldthwaite; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Dino was preceded in death by her sister, Thelia Rogers, along with her maternal and paternal grandparents. Pallbearers were Ronnie Meyers, Tracy Couch, Jason and Roy Seider, Waylon Stone and Charlie Thomison. Honorary pallbearers were Travis Sanders, Cody Couch and Justin Hosler.
