Charles (Chuck) William Eddleman October 3, 1954 - January 11, 2023

Charles (Chuck) William Eddleman of Evant passed away on January 11, 2023. He was born on October 3, 1954, in Indiana.

He and his best friend moved to Adamsville in the 1960’s. They came to Texas from Indiana. Chuck said they were called “hippy #1” and “hippy #2.” They eventually moved to Evant and made this their home. Chuck was a Home Improvement Specialist. At the time of his passing, he was retired. He fell off a roof some months back and never recovered from his injuries. He was scheduled for another surgery on Jan. 12th, but passed before that date.

He was a Baptist and a firm believer in the Lord.

Chuck will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his love of more than 30 years, Sammie Eddleman of Evant; brothers, Bob Martin and Rick Ricketts; nephews, Cris Martin, Nathan and Michael Ricketts all of Indiana.

Chuck never had children of his own. He was married twice. His first marriage was annulled and his second ended in divorce.

He almost always had a smile on his face and an outstretched hand or a hug for everyone. He never met a stranger. He had a nickname for almost everyone he was acquainted with, whether they were young or old.

By the way, I know of no one who called him Charles, except his best friend of Evant.
