Gatesville man sentenced to 15 years for felony
On Nov. 17, 52nd Judicial District Court Judge Trent Farrell sentenced Oney Sims Cox, 59, of Gatesville, to 15 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice - Institutional Division. According to a press release from Coryell County District Attorney Dusty Boyd, Cox entered a guilty plea in September to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a first degree felony. Boyd agreed to cap the sentence at 20 years.
