Winter weather strikes city hard
Recently winter weather has struck our small town harder than usual.
With temperatures plummeting into the single digits for the first time in many years, what seemed to be exciting and new for some, has definitely brought on hardships for many in Gatesville and surrounding areas.
The National Weather Service released information explaining that “winter weather” will be arriving in our area with unusual low temperatures, freezing rain, the expectation of unprecedented heavy snowfall and extreme low wind chills.
