Veterans Day closings will occur on Thursday, Nov. 11 to honor our veterans. The closings will include the following:
GOVERNMENT
The City of Gatesville offices will be closed. The City of Oglesby and the City of Evant offices will be closed. The Coryell County Courthouse will be closed, and the Farm Service Agency will be closed.
SCHOOLS
Gatesville ISD Schools will hold classes and the administration office will be open. Jonesboro, Oglesby and Evant schools will remain open. The Boys and Girls Club will remain open on Nov. 11 and operate using their normal hours.
FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS
Extraco Bank, BancorpSouth, Educator’s Credit Union and The First National Banks of Gatesville, Evant, and Oglesby will all be closed.
POST OFFICES
All local post offices will be closed on Thursday in the surrounding area.
LIBRARY
The Gatesville Public Library will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11.
SENIOR CENTER
The Gatesville Multi Service Center will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11.
MUSEUM
The Coryell Museum and Historical Center will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11.
NEWSPAPER
The Gatesville Messenger will be open on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
