On Feb. 8, a Coryell County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a red, Ford Mustang that was driving at a high rate of speed and recklessly in the area of South Highway 36 and County Road 356.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop for the Deputy and a pursuit ensued.
After a short vehicle pursuit, the driver turned off of Highway 36 and onto County Road 334.
After turning onto County Road 334, the driver stopped the vehicle, exited and continued to flee on foot.
