Pipeline set to cross county
The State of Texas has approved plans for the Shin Oak pipeline project – the second pipeline in just five years that will pass through Coryell County.
The prior pipeline, the BridgeTex Project, traversed Coryell County back in 2013.
According to an article by Joshua Mann that appeared in the Houston Business Journal, “the project, called Shin Oak, includes a 571-mile pipeline to move natural gas liquids from Enterprise’s Hobbs terminal in the Permian Basin in Gaines County, to its terminal in Mont Belvieu, which is just to the east of Houston.”
The pipeline should be in service by the second quarter of 2019.
