Early voting for the Nov. 3 General Election is off to a strong start with more than 5,100 ballots cast in Coryell County during the first two days of voting.

Early voting opened Tuesday and runs through Oct. 30 in Texas.

Coryell County voters have had a strong presence at the polls, with numbers exceeding those in previous recent election years.

“So far these numbers are larger than anything we’ve had in the recent past,” Coryell County Tax Assessor/Collector Justin K. Carothers said on Wednesday evening.
