A look at progress: CMHS expands, renovates
The Coryell Memorial Health System renovation and expansion project is well on its way to completion by late summer or early fall. The project will add 117,000 square feet of facility space and include upgrades to almost every area of the existing system. David Byrom, Chief Executive Officer of CMHS, states “This project is the opportunity to do a lot of things on our long-range vision plan – a big bite of the apple. We are ready.”
It is interesting to ponder whether in 1936, the brother medical team Dr. Kermit Jones and Dr. Dean Jones could have even contemplated the impressive scope of the current and impending CMHS $42 million project.
