Local marijuana farm raided

On Tuesday, four locals were arrested in relation to a discovery made by the Coryell County Sheriff’s Office of a large-scale amount of marijuana in the 100 block of SpottedLocal marijuana farm raided

Three males, Christian Brown, 21, Jeffery Reamer, 62, Thomas Brown, 52, and one female, Stacy Brown, 54, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana of more than five pounds but less than 50 pounds.

At the location, 585 marijuana plants ranging from one to six feet were seized. Also seized at the location were 11.8 pounds including packaging of “ground” substance. Investigators, through training and experience, believed the ground substance to be marijuana.

“It was one of the largest and most professional (marijuana)operations I have seen in this area,” said Coryell County Chief Deputy Mark Wilcox.

Further seized at the location, were six jars (6.1 pounds) of a substance purported to be THC “butter” along with eight jars (6.8 pounds) of a substance purported to be THC oil.
