The recently announced all-district selections for the Oglesby High School Lady Tigers team include:
Co-Offensive MVP: Matti Dixon
Co-Defensive MVP: Lacie Luckie
First-team all-district: Hailey Meyers, Alyssa Castillo, and Andrea Licea-Perez.
Second-team all-district: Addison Hamilton, Charolette Ritchie, and Victoria Cardenas.
The Lady Tigers finished district play in second place with wins over Aquilla and Gholson, advanced to the first round of the playoffs. They finished with a 17-11 season record with a district mark of 4-2.
“This is the first earned playoff berth and we are super excited for the future of the program,” head volleyball coach Amanda Martin said.
