Gatesville High School senior Khloe Mathews pounds the ball with authority in the Hornets victory over the Killeen Kangaroos on Aug. 30. GHS topped Killeen 27-25, 25-14, 25-15. The junior varsity and freshman teams also defeated Killeen. The Hornets were scheduled to host the Temple Lady Wildcats on Sept. 2.
