The Hornet junior varsity also won by a score of 2-0 while the freshman team lost, 2-1. After their Sept. 16 home game against Burnet, the Hornets are scheduled to travel to Marble Falls on Sept. 20. The varsity Hornets also defeated Jarrell 3-0 on Sept. 9, with the JV winning 2-0 and the freshmen falling 2-0. Gatesville’s district opener is scheduled for Sept. 23 against Robinson.
