High school renovations begin
With the $9.9 million bond package approved by voters, work has begun to renovate the nearly 60 year-old high school.
Most of the work at the school will not be obvious from the exterior, but renovations have already begun inside, Gatesville Independent School District Superintendent Barrett Pollard said.
“From the outside, you won’t be able to see a lot,” he said. “Most of the work is going on inside and on the back of the school. We are mostly rebuilding the middle of the school.”
