GHS mattress sale held

The Gatesville High School Band recently held a fundraiser in the school’s band hall.

The event was a mattress fundraiser to benefit the school’s band program. The band hall, which was turned into a “mattress showroom,” was stacked from corner to corner with various sizes, shapes, and styles of mattresses.

Pictured above is the president of the band boosters, Teresa Johnson, trying out one of the many mattresses. She was joined by GHS senior, Jordan Underwood, who was dressed in a mattress costume out on the street trying to boost mattress sales. GHS Band Boosters has a long record of financial service to the band. All revenue from the sales is designed for use by the band program only.
