The Gatesville Hornets braved the cold on March 11-12 to compete against the Cameron Yoe, Pasadena First Baptist Christian Academy, Fairfield, and Franklin in the Franklin High School tournament.

The Hornets won two and lost two in their four outings. The Hornets played PFBCA’s Warriors on Friday, defeating them 7-4. Later in the day, the Hornets would fall to the Yoeman 2-1. On Saturday, the Hornets started strong, defeating Fairfield 13-8, but later Franklin would defeat the Hornets 6-1.
