 Continuing a streak spanning more than a decade, the district has achieved for more than a decade, the Gatesville Independent School District earned a perfect 100 on its Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas score.

 Three days into this school year Gatesville Independent School District Transportation Director Kris Raney was already having to shuffle bus schedules. In a normal year the district would be a few drivers short, but could make it with substitutes.

The Evant Independent School Board of Trustees held a special board meeting on Sunday, July 18, where they officially announced a new EISD superintendent, school principal and the Effective School’s Coordinator of the district.

More than 220 lots were sold during the premium auction that capped off the 2020 Coryell County Youth Fair. The sale, held Jan. 11 at the Gatesville Civic Center, raised more than $262,000 for FFA and 4-H members who qualified for the sale.
