Deputies don new patch drawn by former inmate
Coryell County Sheriff’s Office deputies have recently adopted new uniforms and a new patch, that features the U.S. and Texas flags on either side of the Seal of Texas that was drawn by a former inmate.
Tyson Muniz, who was recently released from the Coryell County Jail after serving 20 months, worked as a front porter or trustee at the jail and would draw portraits and other artwork for fellow inmates and personnel at the CCSO.
As a nonviolent offender and low flight risk, Muniz interacted with personnel throughout the jail and offices.
