Coryell Health begins COVID vaccines
Coryell Health has received their first shipment of COVID-19 vaccines which have been administered to front line health workers and staff, first responders, essential workers and residents of the health system’s Residential Care facilities.
As of Monday, Coryell Health had not received additional vaccines from the state to administer to the public and hospital officials do not know when or how many they may be receiving. In the meantime, Coryell Health staff are also working on a detailed plan to offer the vaccine to the general public.
Coryell Health will follow published immunization guidelines regarding patients who will receive the vaccine first.
Plans will include a vaccine clinic for those who want to receive the vaccination at a central location in Gatesville.
