Construction to resume at Coryell hospital
Construction is expected to resume in the coming weeks to complete the major expansion of Coryell Memorial Hospital that has been delayed since a deadly explosion occurred at the construction site on June 26, 2018.
According to Coryell Health’s Chief Executive Officer David Byrom, a pre-construction agreement has been signed with the Skiles Group, a national general contracting and construction management firm based in Richardson, to supplement the construction and begin mobilization efforts that will lead to the completion of the project.
According to the company’s website, Skiles Group has provided general contracting and construction management services for over 45 years, specializing in the construction of healthcare facilities. The company’s portfolio lists a number of award-winning works encompassing a variety of project types, including commercial, educational, faith-based, industrial and recreational facilities.
