Chamber News

 The Gatesville Chamber of Commerce will be participating in a job fair.  The flyers have gone out and they are attached to this email.  You can have your own table at the job fair for a fee.  I would like to put together a list of Gatesville Chamber businesses that are hiring.  The information I need should include, but not limited to the following: Company name, position(s) you are hiring, starting pay and Contact information. Please email me at Chamber@Gatesvilletx.info.  I would like this to be an opportunity to show people that we have many positions in all fields that are hiring locally.

 Announcement: We are currently working on a new app for our Chamber members and community!  The exciting part is every Chamber member will have their name listed.  However, if you would like your logo to be shown with your name, it will be an additional yearly fee.  We only have 3 exclusive advertisers shown on the landing page each year.  The Chamber of Commerce Corks and Kegs event will be the first Saturday in November, November 6th, benefiting The Gatesville  Senior Center.  Times for this event have not yet been posted.

 We are bringing on NEW members every month!  If you have any items with your logo that you would like to go in a gift bag for New members, please drop them by the Chamber between 10am and 2pm Monday through Friday or call me; I can come pick them up.

 I am excited to say that we have had more and more visitors coming into the depot.  I am running low/completely out of some business cards.  Please drop by and check your stock.

 Lastly, I would like to thank our community, our businesses and everyone that helped and sponsored our 2021 Shivaree.  It was a huge success with six events, five locations, two days and 15 volunteers.  We are looking forward to Shivaree 2022.
