It is that time of year again! The time when our online shopping skyrockets as we prepare for the holiday season.
Please be aware of your delivery dates and track your packages. With the major delivery organizations (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) traveling the same routes and making deliveries at approximately the same times it can be easy to know when to look for new boxes and packages on your porches or by your mailboxes. Consider being creative with outdoor furniture and plants to obscure the area where your packages are delivered. You can also utilize boxes or reinforced bags that are secured to your home or door with a lock. Just leave instructions for the delivery to be placed inside of the box or bag and provide a lock to secure it. And, as always, the more we watch out for each other the safer we all are. Know your neighbors and neighborhood and please report any suspicious activity to your local law enforcement agency. We hope you have a safe and happy holiday season!
