Coryell County Sheriff’s Office uses new drug dog for first time

Five people were arrested during the predawn hours Tuesday in a drug raid at two separate homes in Gatesville.

It was the first opportunity for the sheriff’s office to utilize the newest addition to its “war” on drugs, K-9 Stana, a Belgian Malinois

Coryell County Sheriff Scott Williams, Chief Deputy Mark Wilcox, investigators, patrol deputies, the Heart of Texas Auto Theft Task Force unit and officers from the 52nd District Attorney’s office participated in the operation.
