4-H starts vet medicine group

A new program started recently in Coryell County intended to allow 4-H members to learn about veterinary medicine.

The Coryell County 4-H Veterinary Science Group was the brainchild of new Coryell County Extension Agent Robert Ferguson, who had seen success with similar groups through the FFA program in West Texas schools.

He set up an “interest” meeting, which attracted 20 youth, plus parents.
