Vivian Sadler has proved that even the biggest of hearts can come in small packages. The Gatesville native, a student of the Shine Homeschool Co-Op hosted at Grace Bible Church once a week, recently held a bake sale fundraiser for animals in need at the Gatesville City Shelter. “I have always had a love for animals

,” Vivian said. “I don’t have a favorite animal. I love them all.” According to her mother, Ginger Sadler, the precocious 7-year-old baked cookies and brownies to sell at the co-op in order to raise money for local animals in need. “Vivian had been talking about helping animals for a while,” Sadler stated. “We went to eat and saw a fl yer from the police department [about the animal shelter
