Murphree Cemetery Association to hold annual meeting April 16

The annual business meeting of the Murphree Cemetery Association in Evant has been scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 16 at the First National Bank.

The agenda will include a financial report, the election of some of the officers and directors, and a report on the maintenance of the cemetery. The attendance of all interested parties is encouraged and appreciated.

Those unable to attend, but who need to make their annual maintenance payment, may send a check made out to Murphree Cemetery Association to P.O. Box 144, Evant, TX 76525. The maintenance fee is $8 per grave and purchased grave site. For questions, call Scott Marwitz at 254-749-3932.
