Gatesville Riding Club to host Playday Saddle Series

The Gatesville Riding Club is to host a Playday Saddle Series on March 18, April 15, May 6, May 20, and June 24. Books will open at 9 a.m.

A saddle is high point for all ages. Buckles will be given to first and second place. Prizes will be awarded to first through fifth place. 

Events will include poles, straights, clover leaf barrels, and speed barrels. Lead line will have a $25 office fee and will begin at 10 a.m. 

The nomination fee will cost $25, exhibitions will cost $5, the office fee will be $10, and all events will cost $8. 

Contestants must be present and participate in four out of five playdays, enter all events, and pay the one-time nomination fee of $25 to qualify for end-of-series awards. Participants will be allowed to pay-it-forward for one playday that is missed. The rules of physically attending four out of five will still apply.
