Annual Fall Festival to be held at Mother Neff State Park

Mother Neff State Park will have their annual Fall Fest on Saturday, Nov. 12.

The festival will be held at Mother Neff State Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors are asked to make sure to check-in at the visitor center for a map and information; admission is free.

 

There will be plenty of activities including a storybook trail, guided hikes, scavenger hunts, a Texas Forest Service by Smokey Bear, CCC history, children’s crafts, and special programs. The Leon River Dutch Oven Gang will hold a demonstration, and will be giving out samples from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Mother Neff State Park Association and a Central Texas Master Naturalist will be at the event as well. 

 

Donations are appreciated for MNSPA to help provide for park improvements and other future events. Mother Neff State Park is located at 1921 Park Road 14 near Moody. For more information, call 254-853-2389.
