100 S’more Years Celebration with Mother Neff State Park

Mother Neff State Park will celebrate its one hundredth year with crafts and s’mores on Saturday, May 13. The celebration will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Be sure to stop by the park headquarters to receive a free s’mores kit to enjoy.

If you are not able to make it to the park on the day of the celebration, host your own s’mores get together. Post a photo of your s’more’s celebration to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag “100SmoreYears.”

Mother Neff State Park was the first official Texas State Park, the land was donated by Isabella Neff in 1916.

Mother Neff State Park is located at 1921 State Park Rd. 14 in Moody.
