Several people of Mound attended the 2022 annual Gatesville High School Homecoming activities including the bonfire, pep rally, the GHS varsity football game, banquet and class reunions.

This year’s King and Queen in the Homecoming Court were Josh Coalston and Persephone Romero of Gatesville. Miss Katie Sue Hopson of Mound and Alex Johnson of Gatesville were happy to represent their sophomore class in the 2022 Homecoming Court.

Emma Blakley of College Station was home for the weekend.

Mrs. Bettie Blakley of Pearl was Sunday lunch guests of Robert, Carolyn and Emma Blakley.

Mrs. Melba Stephens, Rick and Suzy Stephens of South Lake, Rayland and Shirley Stephens of Chandler spent the weekend with Ray and John Stephens.

Samuel Winkler was presented his Aggie ring on Sept. 23 by his father, Matt Winkler. Family and friends were there for the celebration.

Several people of Mound attended the annual Gatesville Senior Center open house Saturday afternoon.

Alan McCorkle of Buda visited over the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth McCorkle.

Mrs. Doris Hoff of Gatesville visited Thursday afternoon with Martha Lawhorn.

Margaret Hopson was honored for her 71st birthday Sunday evening in Temple by her daughter, Angie Cupps and children.
