This is to address the deplorable situation in Gatesville with our primary internet provider, CenturyLink.

As election season nears, I remain frustrated that the old rest home at Lovers Lane and Osage is still standing. I was driving by recently and saw kids and bicycles on one of the porches.

I felt as an avid reader of The Gatesville Messenger I needed to compliment the pictures and articles about the sports you are including in your paper! They certainly include many events and students who are participating, and their successes. 

TxDOT closed SH 236 at the Leon River more than a year ago. This has created a major inconvenience for local persons on many levels:

I would like to take a moment of your time to raise up before you five incredible Christian citizens of our community, along with the three businesses they run.
