Bill Loggins and Ollie M. Flake were married on March 5, 1948, after meeting in their classes at Baylor University. They were married at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Waco.
Their four children are Sherry Edwards and husband, Malcom, of Lewisville, Linda Garvey and husband, Jamie, of Gatesville, Mary Anne Leib and husband Tom, of Gatesville, and Mike Loggins and wife, Laura Ferri of Seattle. Bill and Ollie have numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bill and Ollie both had teaching careers in Gilliland, Bremond, Dawson, Malakoff, Plano, and Prosper before retiring and moving to Gatesville in 1992.
They have been members of the First United Methodist Church of Gatesville for more than 30 years.
