Update: Endangered missing woman found

Alicia Moore, who was reported missing on Friday morning, was found by police "safe and sound," according to a social media post by the Gatesville Police Department. 

Police asked the public on Friday to help them locate Moore who was believed to be in danger. No other details have been released at this time. 

Background

The Gatesville Police Department is asking the public for help in finding a missing 38-year-old womanwho could be in a possible crisis.

Police are searching for Alicia Moore who was last seen near FM 116 in Gatesville around 3:30 a.m. on Friday. She was wearing a black with thin white stripes waist-high robe, a light blue Bevis and Butt-Head T-shirt, dark gray yoga pants, and white high-top shoes. 

Moore is described as a white female who is about 5 foot 8 inches tall with medium build, shoulder length brown hair typically in a ponytail, freckles, circles under her eyes, and an oblong birth mark on upper right arm, according to police.

Moore had a brown and white husky on a leash with a spike collar with her. 

Police say to call 911 if she is located and they will respond immediately.  Anyone with non-urgent information is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency number at 254-865-2226.
