GYS tackle football to begin in July

The tackle football league of Gatesville Youth Sports will begin its season at the end of August and will begin practicing in the middle of July.

The age groups for youth tackle football will include 8-and-under, 10-and-under, and 12-and-under. Flag football will be for ages 6-and-under only.

Along with having five teams last year, Moody, Jarrell, Troy, and Hewitt have been added to the schedule as well.

Sign-up forms for the program have been passed out to each campus and will be available for students.

The drop off location for the forms is 3502 Churchill Drive in Gatesville.
